15.7 Future Plans

There are issues where we believe we can help.

1.     Litter: this does accumulate adjacent to the fence and Putting Plus will attend to this throughout the year.

2.     Bin Store: Putting Plus has planning permission but, currently the intention is that the grass cuttings will be taken away by the contractor.

3.     Vandalism: The kiosk design takes account of the threat, and Putting Plus will seek the support and advice of the community police.

4.     Shrubs: There have always been plans for shrubs (Eleagnus appropriate for the harsh environment) to soften the fence, and Putting Plus is currently applying for funding for this.

5.     Paint the fence green:  This is not part of our original plans but could help to soften the impact of the fence.  It is not budgeted and would cost about £400. Any contributions would be much appreciated. Putting Plus is currently applying for funding for this.

6.     Community liaison: The stop start lease issues meant it was appropriate to adopt a low profile during 2013. Putting Plus are currently looking at ways to build closer links to the community hopefully to prevent a repeat of the current unfortunate circumstances.
