After filling out each item, please send it by e-mail to arrl.vec.tokyo@gmail.com.
Please apply at least two days before the test date.
If you are taking the FCC test for the first time, please fill out the necessary information in (1) and (2) and send it as an attached file.

Upgrade candidates, in addition to (1) and (2) above, please attach and send copies of the following documents.

According to fall in the exchange rate of Japanese Yen,
ARRL VEC TOKYO VE TEAM will hold a FCC's Amateur Radio License exam session on the above mentioned time and date. Technician, General and Amateur Extra Class license exams will be given. You must provide a mailing address in the U.S., and a FCC Registration Number (FRN) before taking the exam.
1.If you wish to take this exam, please send a Pre-Registration form and a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope; an 84Yen stamp affixed) to Mr.KAWAKAMI below address at your earliest convenience.

2.SSN or FRN is required. If you don't have FRN.For details on how to obtain FRN please see below**Important**
3.If you currently hold a FCC amateur radio license or have a valid CSCE(Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination),
please send a photocopy of it/them also.And bring original on session.
4.The candidate must present a legal photo ID, passport or other legal identification card with the candidate's photo on it.And original FCC license or valid CSCE.
5.Your postal address within the United States is required.
If you are taking the FCC for the first time, steps (3) is not required.

FRN (Federal Registration Number)
The application process requires either a Social Security Number (SSN) or Federal Registration Number (FRN). The FRN has been printed on amateur licenses issued in recent years. If you have other FCC licenses, you may have a FRN from that.
If you don't have a FRN yet, you can visit the following FCC website at http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls From this page click on the REGISTER button and follow the instructions to apply for a FRN. You can also use this page to check and see if you already have a FRN.
