Classes for Performers

WHO IS IT FOR?

Does your child like to perform?  

Do they like being in a team?

Are they strong, determined, resilient and a team player?

Then Acro is the sport for them.

WHAT DO THEY DO?

During their time in the Acro team they will practice for 1.5hrs a week and 2hrs before showtime. 

Each team member must commit to the performances throughout the year and commit each week to practice.

During rehearsal time each gymnasts will be assigned a partner: one base and one flier, which they will stay with for the season ( unless changed by the coach).  They will predominately work with that partner perfecting their core tricks as well as their own signature ones.

Tricks include counter balances, lifts, dynamic transitions, flows and duo gymnastics skills.

They are also required to perform trios, quads and team tricks.

AUDITION PROCESS

There is an audition process to be a member of the Acro display team.

At the beginning of each calendar year we hold auditions to become a member of our team.

The audition will include strength and conditioning, flexibility, gymnastics skills, balance, ability to perform and work as a team.
