Diversity courses

The world consists of millions and millions of different peoples with rich cultures, histories and needs. To be an effective teacher, one must be willing and prepared to meet these diverse people. I prepared myself in a few ways by taking various courses to expose myself to a variety of learners. I learned that teachers must be flexible, creative and have an arsenal of strategies to face the challenges of a culturally diverse learning group.
