Treat donations needed!

Book fair

November 9-13

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Fairfax! Click here to set up your student's eWallet, to contribute to the Share the Fair program, and to shop online (starting 11/9).

Wednesday, november 11

We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the media center at Fairfax. Our meetings start at 6:30pm and we strive to be finished no later than 8:30.

Family Photo mini-sessions

We will offer a family photo session fundraiser on November 8th at Forest Hill Park with photographer Hannah Brost. Each 15 minute session is $100 and includes high-resolution digital image files. Sign up here! Email us at fairfaxptachuh@gmail.com with any questions.

fairfax book club

The Fairfax Book Club meets once a month for students in grades 2–4 during the lunch hour. The Book Club is a partnership with the Lee Road Branch Library, our PTA representative Mrs. Lampe, and Fairfax staff.

Each month, students will read and discuss a selected book:

Wednesday, November 4: Measuring Up by Lily LaMotte
Wednesday, December 2: Allergic by Megan Wagner Lloyd

CHUH Holiday card contest

Tiger Nation students from preschool through 12th grade are encouraged to participate in the 6th annual CHUH Holiday Card Contest! Any student who is currently enrolled in CHUH is eligible to participate.

The Reaching Heights Many Villages program offers a unique opportunity for parents and community members to contribute to a child's academic journey by offering one-on-one tutoring services within the school. Commit as little as one hour, one day per week. Learn more here.
