Teacher Funding information

The PTA offers annual classroom reimbursements, mini-grants, and field trip funding to support teachers. Please see the below descriptions and requirements for each. 

Submission Deadline: January 31, 2027

Please send all funding requests by email to our Treasurer at ffxptatreasurer@gmail.com and include the following information with every request: 

• Your name

• Type of request 

• Amount 

• Purpose

• Support

• Eligibility statement confirming you have either joined the PTA for the current school year (1) or would prefer to have your membership processed by the PTA with due deducted from your payout, if applicable (2)

Classroom Enrichment Reimbursement

• Amount: Max $100 ($200 for creative arts)

• Purpose: Description of request/purchases/programming

• Support: Receipts greater than or equal to the amount requested

• Eligibility: Fairfax Elementary Staff Member, Fairfax PTA Member (unpaid dues will be deducted from payout)

Mini-Grant

• Amount: Max $100

• Purpose: Description of request/purchases/programming

• Support: Receipts for reimbursement OR request for direct payment (ex: “please pay this invoice” or “please purchase these items”)

• Eligibility: Fairfax Elementary Staff Member, Fairfax PTA Member (unpaid dues will be deducted from payout)

Field Trip Funding

• Amount: Max $100

• Purpose: Description of request/purchases/programming

• Support: Receipts for reimbursement OR request for direct payment supporting at least the total amount requested (ex: “please pay this invoice” or “please purchase these items”)

• Eligibility: Fairfax Elementary Staff Member, Fairfax PTA Member (unpaid dues will be deducted from payout)
