Skill Table
The following table shows relations between the original FS skills and what skills are equivalent in SW. Some skills will be replaced by Feats or a combination of some skill and a Feat.
New Skills
Repair = Tech Redemption
Repair skill will be referred to as Tech Redemption. The base skill allows the user to repair mundane (everyday) items, equivalent to an electricians/mechanics skills. Progression to more advanced technology will require the user to take the extra Tech Redemption feats.
Bureaucracy (from SLA):
Skill in handling exactly that. Knowledge of, handling of, interacting with, understanding of processes
Space:
Use of space suits, space survival, zero‐g maneuvers, usage of ship systems and other space or spaceship related tasks.
Rigging:
Used for cyberspace skills and Think Machines.
Performance:
Performing arts.
Etiquette
Streetwise, modified: knowledge of protocol, custom, behavior, rituals and other details of interaction with your peers. Interaction with others, such as Noble Houses/ Church Sects/ Guild Houses is at ‐2 by default (or worse if they
are really weird) unless you are a member of that group (you don’t come with the right toolkit).
Charioteer:
Used for piloting spaceships and knowledge of gate use.
Two Weapon Fighting
Extra Off Hand penalties: recommend you use the extra harsh off hand penalties option as suggested in SLA Industries. Off hand ‐2 hit AND damage worse. All weapons require one extra level of STR in off hand.
