07.) Papercraft Objects: First Prototypes

Assignment Description:

Create a paper (cardstock, actually) prototype of your model. Use your unfolded template (exported to Illustrator for adjustments and printing) as a cut/fold template to create your virtual object in the real world, via papercraft!

Assignment Requirements:

1.) Create a printable template of your unfolded object in Adobe Illustrator.

2.) We are focusing on the form of our models - do not worry about populating your surfaces with images/designs yet.

3.) Print your template on cardstock.

4.) Score, cut, and fold your template into it's 3D form.

5.) Create a new post on your process blog, and document this assignment (intro, photos, reflection, etc)

Complete this assignment by the beginning of next class (Monday, October 31st).
