Assignment Description:

In preparation for our next project, Papercraft Objects, we'll be creating some geometric designs. To practice procedural drawing and pattern generation in Adobe Illustrator, we will each be creating a sheet of geometric pattern samples.

Assignment Requirements:

1.) Using tools outlined in class (transform and path object functions, fill and stroke) generate a proof sheet of 25 pattern samples

2.) Designs should be black and white

3.) For the sample sheet, create a letter-sized document with .25" margins

3.) Arrange samples in a 5x5 grid

4.) Create a new post on your process blog

5.) Include, in your post:

a.) A brief introduction to the assignment

b.) A 300 DPI PNG (exported from your design in AI)

Complete this assignment by 1:00pm (Monday, October 10th).
