Our Mission Statement

OUR PURPOSE: To present all children during their early years, with the tools and high-quality expanded education that will help them grow and succeed in both, school and life. We strongly believe, “that all people deserve the opportunities and resources to fulfill their complete humanity.” We provide continuity in our support to our children and families who need it, throughout their school years as an Extended Explorer.

OUR VALUES: We place great value on creating high-quality student support that is available for all families. Our families of Extended Explorers are very important to us. We bridge together home and school by supporting each individual family’s ideas & values, encouraging parent participation, and forming emergent education between our children, families and staff.

OUR CURRICULUM PHILOSOPHY: We trust and respect the child’s interactional ability to take lead in an emergent or collaborative learning experience Children learn and prosper through support, trust, respect and encouragement from others. Our staff and volunteers help provide a safe environment filled with materials and opportunities that develop children physically, intellectually and emotionally. Academics is an important part of our program that is included in our daily schedules. However, building good character and well-rounded fundamental life skills, through sports and other extracurriculars are of equal importance.

Our uplifting support in balancing education and recreational activities, give all the learners of our Extended Explorers family a desire to explore for more. We are all life-long learners. We all learn differently. But, no matter what, Extended Explorers is here to support every member in fulfilling their unlimited potential in life.
