Getting Started

Welcome to Shaiya Exile! 

In this section you will find out:  How to Get Started on Exile, Linking Suggestions for each class, information about our economic system, services, and other important information.

 After you download and extract Shaiya Exile, you will first choose your faction.

 (Choose wisely because you cannot change the accounts faction)

Once you choose your faction you will choose a character (We recommend you start with a character that can kill, so you can do some farming to build up your character)

On the Exiles Character creation screen, you'll see three different levels to choose from levels 1, 15, and level 30. (Note: If you choose 15 or 30 you will be locked into those levels and will not be able to level them up)

 Once you choose your level you will receive starter gear, weapons, and accessories that will help you out. You will also have 1 million in gold and a speed nos, attack nos, and a 1-hour experience stone. experience stones will also be available in the Exile Merchant at the Auction House.

 (Note: your starter gear will be for level 31 and will take you through leveling up to level 60. You will get gear, pre-elemental weapons, and starter accessories.) The starter amulet will be level 1 and will have +1 movement speed. 

There are three different PvP zones level 15,  level 30, and level 60 click on links to see information about each of those zones.

 The experience rate will be 250x so you can level up quickly. On Exile, Continuous Resurrection Runes, Prevent Item Drop (PID), and Eternal Endurance Hammer are activated so you won't need to buy them. You can, however, buy regular resurrection runes from the Exile Merchant so you can resurrect in the same spot that you died on @ 100k each. There will also be free items in the merchant such as Dispel Potions, Great Healing/Stamina/Mana potions, Great Super Potion, Warehouse Recall Runes, Movement Runes, Party Member Summon Runes, Recall Runes, and Tele Runes.

The fastest way to level is in what is called a Perfect Party of 7 people where you will get bonus experience as long as you maintain 7 people in the party. Ask in trade chat for a PP to level. 

The Exile Merchant will also be available in each starter town for your convenience.

You may also want to purchase a Blue Dragon Charm that will give you 2 save locations, increased experience, and gold drops as well as some Teleportation Stone Runes so you can save locations. 

Make sure you have both  Experience Stone and either a Blue Dragon Charm or a Red Phoenix Charm activated when you are leveling. 

Joining a guild is often very helpful in getting you started, and most guilds will help you find your way. You will find the guild master for each faction inside the Auction house as well as in the capital cities of each faction.

How to get Started on Exile:

If you are a new player, here are some helpful ideas to get you started.

Gear: We give you Starter sets, weapons, and accessories free, already in your inventory when you create a new toon.

As you get the better pieces you can link, enchant, and reroll them as you wish because when you get the best gear you will be able to Lapis Switch to them into the new gear: Click Here for Info on Lapis Switching

You can farm the better gear and weapons from different locations, or the Bosses. Some items will be available on the WebMall for those of you who don't like farming or just want it faster.
