Follow these steps to convert the PDF (e-mailed from the copier/scanner) to JPEG image files:

After installing xnConvert, ensure the settings are appropriate.

• 1.  Go to "Settings."

• 1. Go to "Load Format Settings."

• 1. Go to "PS/PDF" and set the resolution to 300 dpi.

• 1. Close the "Load format settings" and to to "Output." Change 3 things here: 1) Format to "JPG-JPEG/JFIF," 2) Filename to "Image##," and 3) check the box for "Convert all pages from multipage file."

When the settings are set as shown here, they do not need to be altered again.  xnConvert will retain these settings as the defaults.

To convert the PDF to image files, drag and drop the PDF file into the "Input" window.  Then, click "Convert."  The images will be written to the same directory as the PDF file.
