Transoesophageal echocardiography

We will be holding our course in transoesophageal echocardiography on 4,5,6 September 2016. The course will be held at the Marriott Hotel in Central London. 
 
This course consists of three days which can be booked together or independently according to the requirements of the delegate.  
The faculty will be drawn from the Department of Congenital Heart Disease at the Evelina London Children's Hospital. The team includes Prof. John Simpson, Dr Owen Miller, Dr Kuberan Pushparajah, Dr Sujeev Mathur. Ms Kelly Peacock and Ms Karolina Bilska. 
The course is suitable for consultant  cardiologists, specialist registrars, anaesthetists, echocardiographers and all related health professionals. 
 
Day 1 - TOE simulation using "Heartworks" simulator
Introduction to key views and probe manipulation with hands-on instruction 
 
Days  2,3 - Evaluation of congenital heart lesions by TOE.
This section of the course will include lectures, demonstration using Heartworks simulation and interrogation of 3D datasets. 
Instruction on use of 3D post-processing will be incorporated into the course.  Previous experience in 3D is desirable but not essential. 
 
Places on all days are strictly limited to provide a high ratio of trainers to delegates.
