ETC655 Badges and ETC Portfolio are related to the concept of Comprehensive Learner Record (CLR). They are relevant to Connectivism, Open Education, ONLE, PLE, Digital Lifelong Learning.
What:
ETC655 badges are granted to ETC655 students who participate in ETC655 extra curricula that are optional instructional activities and have no grade points assigned to. These digital assets may not be demonstrated fully in traditional academic records, such as course grades, transcripts, certificates, and diplomas, etc.
After you complete the badge requirements, request to unlock the badge.
You are not required to unlock badges even you complete the requirements.
Deadline: May 15, 2020.
Each badge has specific criteria to unlock at the end of the instructions. After the instructor reviewing the badge unlock request, if it meets all requirements, the earned badge will be e-mailed to the student. The students have choices to display OR not to display their earned badges in their ETC portfolio.
You are not required to display the earned badge. You can select the earned one(s) to display in your ETC portfolio.
