It’s do or die for Edgecombe Post 19 as we face #1 Garner Nationals Wednesday at 7:00 PM at SouthWest Edgecombe HS. We fell 1-11
Down 0-2 in a best-of-five series, our backs are against the wall — we need a win tonight to keep our season alive.
We made a valiant but fell to #1 Seed Garner Post 232 4-8 ending our playoff run
PLAYOFF BOUND
Edgecombe Post 19 clinches a playoff berth with a 6-4 win over Wake Forest Post 187 at Southwest Edgecombe!
Big second inning Jaelyn McLean’s sac fly scores two, and Chase Taylor adds one with a bunt.
Noah Mayo locked in on the mound, and Blayde Hinton closed it out for the save.
Derrick Davis & Turner Cooke led the offense with two hits each.
Edgecombe showed discipline with 7 walks and solid defense with a double play.
