Course Description
This course introduces and explores the role of the Doctor of Nursing Practice in the broader healthcare environment along with the development and application of knowledge in advanced practice nursing roles. This course emphasizes how knowledge is acquired, the theoretical underpinnings upon which nursing practice is based, and the application of knowledge to practice. The student is required to submit an individualized practicum proposal and objectives for the practicum experience.

2.Evaluate the effect of the DNP role on current and future advanced nursing practice regulations and certifications
