Just viewed the video, Eric. The writing under the light bulb IDEA cannot be read. You may want to place it in another space where it can be seen. I think the video makes the viewer interested. But it doesn't lean one way or another toward is this a science or a math lesson. No problem with that. Nor does it pose questions that imply that data will be collected and interpreted. Nor does it say anything about global warming and the need for conserving energy. At this late stage in the game, I wouldn't worry about any of that. I just want you to be aware that those things are absent. All I know is that kids are supposed to design something that will be cheap and made from everyday materials to keep people cool. I also would speak with some of the engineers to get some ideas about how to make such a "green" device. Also, you might want to make sure you stay in touch with them as you might need one of them to come in and speak to your class. Also, they may be able to provide you with some ideas about such a device because I think, as a teacher, you want to have a vision of what the students may design and be able to help them research. So you will have to do some work in advance (like researching global warming and principles of conservation and "green" items.)
But, Eric, you did it. You are just about ready for tomorrow. Congratualtions!
