Data Protection and Privacy statement

Introduction

By using this website and my apps (from the Google Play Store), you agree to the collection, processing and use of data as described below. If you do not agree, please leave this website and delete the affected app. Basically, all data processing and storage is performed only with your explicit agreement, for the necessary purposes and in compliance with the requirement of data economy. All your data remain with you and only you. Without your consent and explicit action, any data will not be passed on to third parties.

This site and the named apps are provided in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and the Google Play Store policies. Data processing is performed by Google LLC respective Google Ireland Ltd. if applicable.

Use of personal data

The following apps process personal information in the following ways:

Processing of data

The processing and storage of data is only done locally on your Android device for the purposes described above. The data may be cached on your device and may be deleted from the settings of the device or when uninstalling the app.

The necessary access rights can be found in the Google Play Store entry for the respective app.

Information about stored data

Since your data in general does not leave your Android device and no central storage takes place, please find all your information on your phone.

Data transmission

General

A transmission of data (neither personal nor non-personal) does not take place, except it's explicitly stated and consented by you.

However, each of the apps provides an error-tracing function that allows an e-mail to be sent to verify data ("debugging" or "developer mode"). In this case, an e-mail is generated with the data that you can send via your mail program. For this purpose, your explicit action is necessary, so any transfer requires your explicit consent and action.

Firebase Crashalytics

In order to keep track of any errors within the apps, I use Firebase Crashalytics. Some information will be transmitted from your device to Google, especially:

IP address
User product interactions (e.g. launch time of app)
Device information (brand, device model, Android version etc.)
Diagnostic information (stacktraces / crash logs, performance, energy use, hang rate etc.)

Geo data

In order to locate the position of a cell phone in the app Where Are You?, this special app inquires databases about cell phone towers. Therefore the mobile network information about the antennas (network type, MNC, MCC, LAC and cell id) will be sent to the central database in order to retrieve the geographical coordinates of the cell phone tower (and thus the cell phone). No personal information - neither a name or phone number - will be transferred.

The App uses the following services:

Google Cloud Services with Google Geolocation API (License terms) or
OpenCellid.org database

Spotify API

The app "Backup Discover Weekly for Spotify" makes use of the Spotify Web API (https://developer.spotify.com/ ) in order to read and copy playlists and tracks of the user currently logged in. During the process of initial login, the user consents to the usage of the Web API for his/her Spotify account. The app uses the Web API in alignment with the Terms & Conditions by Spotify (https://developer.spotify.com/terms/ ).

Advertising

The following apps integrate Google Ads or AdMob. Please refer to the privacy policy of Google Privacy Policy:

In order to provide ads, some personal information will be transmitted to Google, especially your IP address, your Advertising ID and further information about your device. If you are interested into more information, please check out: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites or https://developers.google.com/admob/android/play-data-disclosure . In general the following information are transmitted:

IP-Address: Collects device's IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of a device.
User product interactions: Collects user product interactions and interaction information, including app launch, taps, and video views.
Diagnostic information: Collects information related to the performance of your app and the SDK, including crash logs, app launch time, hang rate, and energy usage.
Device and Account identifiers: Collects Android advertising (ad) ID, app set ID, and, if applicable, other identifiers related to signed-in accounts on the device.

Cookies

This website is provided as a service offering by Google Ireland Ltd. Cookies are used to track navigation and usage of this site and other Google service. For more details please refer to the Google Cookie Policy .

Grundsätzlich erfolgen jegliche Datenverarbeitung und Speicherung nur mit ihrer Einwilligung, zum notwendigen Zwecke und unter Einhaltung des Gebots der Datensparsamkeit. Alle ihre Daten verbleiben grundsätzlich bei ihnen. Ohne Ihre Einwilligung erfolgt keine Weitergabe der Daten an Dritte.

Die Bereitstellung dieser Website und der benannten Apps erfolgt gemäß den Datenschutzregeln von Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy) und den Richtlinien des Google Play Store. Sofern eine Datenverarbeitung außerhalb stattfindet, ist Google LLC bzw. Google Ireland Ltd. dafür zuständig.

Verarbeitung von Daten

Die Verarbeitung und Speicherung von Daten erfolgt nur lokal auf ihrem Android-Gerät zu den oben beschriebenen Zwecken.

Die Daten werden ggf. auf ihrem Gerät zwischengespeichert und können von ihnen über die Einstellungen des Gerätes oder bei Deinstallation der App gelöscht werden.

Die notwendigen Zugriffsrechte entnehmen Sie bitte dem Google Play Store-Eintrag zu der jeweiligen App.

Auskunft zu gespeicherten Daten

Da ihre Daten grundsätzlich nicht ihr Android-Gerät verlassen und auch keine zentrale Speicherung erfolgt, entfällt eine grundsätzliche Auskunft.

Datenübermittlung

Allgemein

Eine Übermittlung von Daten (sei es personenbezogen oder nicht) erfolgt grundsätzlich nicht, sofern nicht ausdrücklich beschrieben und von ihnen zugestimmt.

Jede der Apps bietet jedoch eine Funktion zu Nachverfolgung von Fehlern, die einen Versand der ausgelesenen Daten per E-Mail erlaubt („Debugging-“ oder „Entwicklermodus“). In diesem Fall wird eine E-Mail mit den Daten generiert, die Sie über ihr eingestelltes Mailprogramm versenden können. Dazu ist ihre explizite Aktion notwendig, so dass damit eine Einwilligung der Übertragung vorausgesetzt wird.

Firebase Crashalytics

Um über Abstürze und Fehler in den Apps informiert zu werden und entsprechende Fehler korrigieren zu können, setze ich teilweise Firebase Crashalytics ein. Dabei werden die folgenden Informationen übertragen:

IP Adresse
Benutzerinteraktionen in der App (z.B. Startzeit etc)
Informationen zum Gerät (Marke, Modell, Androidversion etc.)
Diagnoseinformationen (Stacktraces / Logfiles beim Abstürzen, Performance, Energieverbrauch, Hänger/ANRs etc.)

Geodaten

Zur Lokalisierung der Position eines Mobiltelefons über die App Wo bist du? werden Datenbanken über Mobilfunktürme verwendet. Dazu werden die Zellinformationen der erfassten Antennen (Netzwerktyp, MNC, MCC, LAC und CellId) an eine zentrale Datenbank gesendet, die die geographischen Koordinaten der Mobilfunkantenne zurückliefert. Persönliche Informationen (wie Name oder Telefonnummer) werden dabei nicht übertragen. Dazu nutzt die App die folgenden Dienste:

Google Cloud Services mit der Google Geolocation API (Lizenzbedingungen) oder wahlweise
OpenCellid.org Datenbank.

Spotify API

Die App "Backup Discover Weekly von Spotify" nutzt die Spotify Web API (https://developer.spotify.com/ ), um auf die Playlisten und Tracks des jeweils angemeldeten Benutzers zuzugreifen. Bei initialer Anmeldung stimmt der Benutzer der Nutzung der API für sein Spotify-Konto zu. Die Nutzung erfolgt im Rahmen der Terms&Conditions der Spotify (https://developer.spotify.com/terms/ ).

Damit Werbeanzeigen ausgespielt werden können, werden einige persönliche Informationen an Google übertragen, insbesondere die IP-Adresse, die Werbe-ID ("advertising ID") und weitere Informationen zum benutzten Gerät. Falls Sie weitere Informationen lesen möchte, so schauen Sie bitte auf https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites or https://developers.google.com/admob/android/play-data-disclosure . Grundsätzlich werden erfasst und übertragen:

IP-Adresse: Erfasst die IP-Adresse des Geräts, anhand derer der ungefähre Standort eines Geräts ermittelt werden kann.
Gerätekennungen: Erfasst die Android-Werbe-ID (Anzeige), die verwendet werden kann, um festzustellen, ob die Mitteilung zur EU-Nutzereinwilligung gezeigt werden soll.
Interaktionen mit dem Produkt: Erfasst Produktinteraktionen und Interaktionsinformationen von Nutzern, einschließlich App-Starts, Tippaktionen und Videoaufrufe.
Diagnosedaten: Erfasst Informationen zur Leistung deiner App und des SDK, einschließlich -Absturzlogs, der -App-Startzeit, der Wartezeit und des Energieverbrauchs.
Geräte- und Konto-IDs: Erfasst die Android-Werbe-ID, die App-Set-ID und gegebenenfalls andere Kennungen, die sich auf angemeldete Konten auf dem Gerät beziehen.
