In addition, we now and then have guest teachers from the local area. We appreciate their willingness to share their Aikido knowledge on a voluntary basis.

Remembering our Late Teachers, Bacas Sensei, Fujita Sensei and Leisinger Sensei

Next to the portrait of Aikido founder O-Sensei, we mostly place a portrait of our club's founding teacher, Peter Bacas Sensei who passed away on the 26th of February 2006. We hold our memories dear to Bacas Sensei and all the kowledsge and guidance that he provided the club to make it stand up on its feet and exist as a reputed Aikido club in The Netherlands.

Bacas Sensei

Masatake Fujita Shihan, 8th dan Aikikai. Passed away on the 28th of May 2014. The valuable knowledge that Fujita Shihan brought to Holland and to the EAAC, however, continues to be kept alive and Fujita Shihan still remains a significant influence of the EAAC despite the club's teaching committee keeping an open mind about broading its Aikido knowledge.

Fujita Shihan

Karl-Friedrich Leisinger Sensei of Germany, 6th dan Aikikai

Passed away on 19th of February 2015. Leisinger Sensei, brought a lifetime of Aikido inspiration from Germany to The Netherlands and the EAAC. In particular, Leisinger wrote a summary of the German Aikikai's bokken and jo training method which we still use today.
