Thank you for your interest in collaboration or in joining the Niespolo research group!
Please review the research tabs to see what sort of work the group is doing.
Then, if you think my research is a good fit for your interests and goals, or you have a project you'd like to discuss with me, please email me (contact: niespolo [at] princeton [dot] edu).
Interested in a postdoc? If you are a prospective postdoc, please look at the fellowship opportunities at Princeton and in the Department of Geosciences for postdoctoral fellows:
I will be taking one Ph.D. student to start in Fall 2026. Projects will emphasize U-series dating of archaeological and/or cave deposits.
If you are prospective Ph.D. student, and you are a U.S. Citizen, please consider applying for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, typically due in October of the application year. So please contact me by early September if interested in this and my sponsorship!
For prospective students and postdocs, please email me far ahead of application deadlines and include the following information:
-Basic education, background, and any work experience (including non-academic work experience); OR: an attached resume or CV with this information
-Your interests in geochronology and related fields.
-Please also NOTE that the GRE is optional for the Department of Geosciences application to Princeton. More details on the application are here.
I will do my best to return your message within a week.
If you are interested in lab management, please contact me, as I will be hiring a lab manager by Fall 2026.
