    • Design and performance analysis of error correcting codes such as LDPC codes and Raptor codes.
    • Design of network coding schemes for cooperative and distributed sensor communication systems.
    • Designed and simulated an indoor wireless sensor network for cooperative sensing and monitoring of industrial and office buildings.
    • Designed and simulated an underwater wireless acoustic sensor communication network by employing network coding for cooperative communications.

    • Responsible for the development of the industrial camera communication standard GiGE Vision, including development and implementation on FPGA.
    • Designed and developed SDRAM and DDR3 SDRAM controllers for FPGA and ASIC based designs.
    • Debugging of the GiGE Vision system FPGA design and implementation issues and integration with the whole system.

    • Worked on MIMO-OFDM communication system design and its implementation on FPGA.
    • Designed and implemented a WiMAX based system on FPGA with a reduced-latency interleaver and having low power consumption.

    • Involved in the design and implementation of FPGA based designs that are used in switching and data transmission applications.
    • Worked on the testing, documentation, and conducted trainings for a number of ZTE network planning and optimization tools and GSM products, BSCs and indoor/outdoor BTSs.
    • Managed a team of ten testing/documentation engineers and played a key role in documentation and software quality assurance.
    • Involved in the installation of ZTE GSM BSS equipment for CM Pak Pvt. Ltd., Pakistan.

7. Hardware Engineer RWR Pvt. Ltd., Islamabad, Pakistan Mar 2005–Oct 2005

    • Designed and implemented a part of the Radar Warning Receiver on Xilinx Spartan III FPGA, for the Pakistan Air Force.
    • Designed and implemented the mother board of Radar Warning Receiver with Motorola MPC as its main processors.
    • Implemented high speed data transmission algorithms such as the SMII standard on FPGA.
