- Won a travel grant to participate in the 2018 US National Science Foundation Smart and Connected Communities (S&CC) Aspiring PI (Principal Investigator) Workshop, co-located with the 4th IEEE Smart Cities Conference (ISC2), Kansas City, MO, Sep. 17, 2018.
- Received the Brain Korea 21 (BK21) scholarship during Ph.D. at GIST.
- Received the award of Korean Government Scholarship for Ph.D. study at GIST.
- Received the award of Korea IT Industry Promotion Agency scholarship for M.S. study at GIST.
- Received the Best Employee of the month and year awards several times at ZTE Corporation.
- Received the distinction of Silver Medal in the graduating class of B.S. Computer Engineering at CIIT.
