Final Reflection
December 6, 2018
From the beginning of this semester, I learned the definition of the world rhetorical and how to include it in my writings. Even though I already knew about logos, pathos and ethos,I learned more about it with finding it in writings and identifying it in videos. I learned what and how to use google sites. Knowing how to embed and format it. Project one taught me how to write an essay, it help me understand unconscious biases may affect the rhetorical choices we make in our writing.
Project two got me out my comfort zone, when we had to make an podcast. Even though I wasn’t comfortable this was my favorite assignment. I learned how to speak loud and clear and embed the video from soundcloud onto google sites. I learned how to properly cite my work. As difficult as I thought this project was going to be it went well and really happy; I got to experiment how to make a podcast.
Project three was very difficult to me because working on google sites and embedding and adjusting the images and text to properly fit the screen and look right was difficult. That's something I learned how to do. The assignment was difficult finding a good video to write about to argue the subject on women being sexualized in music videos. It was difficult trying find a video with a lot to say about it then just a women showing off her body. It taught me how to add in text citations under the images that I had to screenshot for the project.
Project four I learned how to work with people as a group. To come up with a topic together we all can agree on and figure out how we were going to present it. It took a lot of communicating skills and leadership skills for me with this project. This project taught me how to revise and fix mistakes that were made with citations. It help me use various sources and edit them into in text citations.
Overall I learned how to write essay, cite my work, embed on google sites, invent, draft, and revise. With all these projects they each had their own way in teaching me all these things in different ways. So I learned how to do each of these in a different ways and learned how to properly use them each time.
