This semester I read the “ Five Faces of Oppression”, out of the five faces my group picked violence. As a kid I only saw violence on tv, but growing up I realized that violence is actually happening in this world. The news broadcast violence happening everyday and social media such as snapchat, twitter and instagram. On the social media sites, they broadcast for entertainment not sharing to try to get people to stop the violence. The main violence people are witnessing is with the people who are supposed to serve and protect but they are the ones who are causing violence with police brutality. With my podcast I will be talking about police brutality, trying to get the point across to everyone. I want to find out why this is happening and how is it continuing to happen, when there have been movements and court cases on this matter.
