Based on the success from my previous QLC I decided to continue using the reflection format I set up last year.

After observing the students' reflections for term one I felt they weren't as in depth as they could be and didn't really show growth over time. I reflected on this and felt it might be because asking the girls to reflect on their whole week of learning was too big. They couldn't often remember what they had done all week. I decided to make reflection tasks more prescriptive but still aimed to use the label function.

After attending the assessment capable learners PD day in the holidays I was inspired to create a format that the girls could use to assess themselves. I decided to focus on the curriculum area of writing and follow Tara's self-assessment model from Year 2.

After some success with reflecting on one curriculum area I wanted to start expanding our reflections to include different areas to share a range learning with parents.
