Meet Emily
Emily P. W. Murphy is a writer and freelance editor who has short stories appearing in Bethlehem Writers Roundtable literary journal as well as in award-winning anthologies published by the Bethlehem Writers Group, LLC. Among these are: An Element of Mystery: Sweet, Funny, and Strange Tales of Intrigue (2022), Fur, Feathers, and Scales: Sweet, Funny, and Strange Animal Tales (2020), Untethered: Sweet, Funny, and Strange Tales of the Paranormal (2018), Once Upon a Time: Sweet, Funny, and Strange Tales for All Ages (2016), A Readable Feast: Sweet, Funny, and Strange Tales for Every Taste (2015), Once Around the Sun: Sweet Funny and Strange Tales for All Seasons (2013), and A Christmas Sampler: Sweet, Funny, and Strange Holiday Tales (2009).
Emily's newest work is The Princess of Booray, available in July, 2023. Earlier in the year, Emily was editor of Hook, Line, and Sinker, The Seventh Guppy Anthology, from the Guppy Chapter of Sisters in Crime.
Emily is a graduate of Lafayette College with a major in philosophy. Since graduation, Emily has worked as an editor, both for a small publishing company, and on a freelance basis. Emily is a lifetime member of the Jane Austen Society of North America and a member of the Bethlehem Writers Group, LLC.
