Emily P. W. Murphy has studied writing at the Iowa Summer Writing Festival and with Orson Scott Card at the Hatrack River Writers Workshop. Her work has appeared in Bethlehem Writers Roundtable literary journal as well as in the anthologies Fur, Feathers, and Scales: Sweet, Funny, and Strange Animal Tales (2020), Untethered: Sweet, Funny, and Strange Tales of the Paranormal (2018), Once Upon a Time: Sweet, Funny, and Strange Tales for All Ages (2016), A Readable Feast: Sweet, Funny, and Strange Tales for Every Taste (2015), Once Around the Sun: Sweet Funny and Strange Tales for All Seasons (2013), and A Christmas Sampler: Sweet, Funny, and Strange Holiday Tales (2009).
Emily is a graduate of Lafayette College where she studied philosophy. Since graduation, she has worked as an editor, both for a small publishing company, and on a freelance basis. She is a lifetime member of the Jane Austen Society of North America and a member of the Bethlehem Writers Group, LLC.
