The bad guys. Critters. Ne'er-do-wells. Obstacles. These are the moving, breathing, dangerous things that Plumb heroes will encounter on their quests, journeys, and travails.
Each enemy will have its stats and attacks listed, plus a note about its behavior. Most of these stats are pulled from ''Paper Mario'' and/or its sequel, ''Thousand-Year Door'', and have not yet been specifically tested for Plumb.
The most basic brainwashed Goomba, as seen in World 1-1. They march blindly forward, bumping into their foes and falling off of cliffs.

A Goomba from the new school, this one is smart enough to not wander off a cliff. It can actually attack its foes directly, but lacks a damage aura.

Goomba Tackle: Bodily +1, Range +1. The Goomba charges at an enemy to cause 1 damage, but its stubby legs carry it only 2 squares.
A Koopa Troopa, the modern sort that walks on two legs. They are courageous and battle-hardy, and fling themselves into battle willingly.

Koopa Tackle (+3). The Koopa bodily dashes forward 3 squares in its slick-bottomed shell, for 2 damage.
Distantly related to, and much tougher than, the Koopa Troopa, the Buzzy Beetle makes its home in dark, underground places. They've been known to hang on ceilings, and their shells are invulnerable to fire.

A close cousin of the Buzzy Beetle, these little beasts have spikes all over their shells. Often dropped by Lakitus, they are also known to travel in packs without aerial assistance. Like many Beetles, their defensive capabilities are nothing if you can flip them over, though their spikes prevent the usual method...
