Minutes:

Manjit :

See 3 issues/points while moving to Unicode:

1. Accuracy of content in terms of spelling and grammer: Says professional contents from newspapers are good in that way

2. Since Assamese and Bengali shares the same Unicode characterset, how does Google know whether a site is Assamese or Bengali.

-- Rajen da asked how does European or for that matter Hindi & Marathi contents work.

-- Pallav pointed to the lang=as in html header would help that

(Followup: just checked out the following links to explain further:

About the lang directive: http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/struct/dirlang.html

ISO codes of the languages: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_language_codes.asp

)

3. How to connect with other contact group ...Like IIT regional Development Cell.
