Royal Court Format

The Prospect Sprints Race will use a "Royal Court" format. Competitors will race a 1.2k Sprint Qualifier at 10 am and then be seeded into 6-person heats based on qualifier time. Heats will then go off every 3 minutes starting at 11:30am, with the top 2 finishers moving “up” to the next fastest heat, the middle 2 finishers remaining in the same heat, and the last 2 finishers moving “down” to the next slowest heat. Winners will be decided after 3 rounds of heats, so everyone has a chance to race three rounds of head-to-head competition.
