This bibliography is of those books I have cited in one way or another in the proposed thirteen week university style course I am writing, from which this course has been derived. And it includes other books that I have read and which were important in expanding my understanding of economics and its ideology.
Note:
I have included with this bibliography, where available, the publisher's hyperlink even when the book may be out of print.
If the book is still in print at the publisher, the hyper link will take you to that book's page, and the hyper link text will be in the form 'publisher - book title' (or part of title).
If the book is no longer in print, but an equivalent exist at the publisher, I have linked that instead. See, for example, Machiavelli.
If the book is no longer in print, and an equivalent doesn't exist, the link still takes you to the publisher, but just the home page.
(You may want to request that the publisher do a print run — or you can do your own web search for the book.)
If the publisher no longer exists and I've been unable to find who owns the imprint rights, I've mark the link with NLE (No Longer Extant).
[For the curious and/or slightly masochistic, I have included the reading material for that course in the 'Extended Reading' [still being built] page on this web site.]
