Transmit-Receive coil geometry with metallic tubular layers (ferromagnetic and nonmagnetic) both inside the coil windings and external to the windings. Coil and tube axes are coaxial. Calculates signals from the coils scanning by small flaws in the tube walls.
This solution calculates the change in voltage induced in a coaxial Receive Coil (R) due to the presence of a small flaw in a tube with a time harmonic (sinusoidal) current carried by another coaxial Transmit Coil (T). A flaw signal generated in an impedance Coil can be simulated by allowing coils T and R to occupy the same physical space.
Materials in the Simulation are linear, homogeneous and isotropic. Operating Frequencies are relatively low (< ~ 2 MHz)
