How far would you go to make friends at a new school? Even when those friends are ruthless bullies? In a world of outrageous teens, we watch Jessie and her trusty imaginary friend Airy try to answer that question. The 2012 Fall Drama Class and the ECHS Drama Club have joined forces and are excited to perform The Love Note, a new ant-bullying musical by Gail Phaneuf. The Love Note is a spirited journey that evokes the humor and hardships of modern adolescence, and the timeless survival techniques that we remember into adulthood. The Love Note will be performed January 31st and February 1st for students, and January 31st at 7:00 pm for the community. It will be the playwright’s, as well as drama class and drama club’s honor that $5 per person admission and other profits will be donated to Future Now, a local public school outreach program that works with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to model passion and integrity to all. Please come out and support our students as they campaign against bullying!
