This project based learning webquest will engage students in researching conservation topics. They will have the ability to select from five different topics: Air Pollution, Energy, Green Clean, Global Warming, and Water. The students will select a topic of interest and research the topic online. You can supplement the project with additional resources found on this website, including the history of Earth Day and additional conservation related resources.
The students will complete two products for this project. First, all students will complete a recyclable art project to be entered into your school's Earth Fair. Second, students will select the end product for the topic they have researched. Students should be encouraged to create a project that (1) teaches others about their conservation topic and (2) demonstrates their knowledge of the subject. Students can create posters, brochures, demonstrations, videos, advertisements, websites, or other end products of their chosing. All students will present their project at Earth Fair.
