TDSS

Time Domain Spectroscopic Survey (TDSS) is one of the future SDSS IV projects and will observe ~10⁵ variable sources selected from the two Pan-STARRS Medium Deep Fields (MDF) (Table 1). With the combination of the eBOSS and the SPIDERS, TDSS will create a unique set of quasars to redshift z = 3. PI of TDSS is P. Green at CfA.

I had been worked on QSO target selection using variability features (Kim+ 2011, 2012) of the MDF light curves (e.g. Cumulative Sum, quartile, Anderson-Darling test, Stetson K_AC, period and period SNR, etc).
