About Us

 What We Do

DanceWorks Altrincham is a small, community-based dance school in Broadheath, Altrincham and  has existed in its current form since 2000.

It's volunteer-led and run by experienced, UKA-qualified dance teachers who have enhanced DBS  clearance.

Our aim is to provide structured dance activities within a safe and familiar environment for our pupils and their families.

Rather than view dance simply as a physical activity - we see that through providing routine, structure and positive feedback, our pupils gain a sense of "team", enhanced social skills, self-confidence and self-motivation.

We provide excellent quality teaching by keeping classes to small numbers, allowing our teachers to plan for individual pupil abilities.

We don't only teach children - but we can't always offer regular adult dance classes - we can offer wedding dance preparation classes on request.
