Benmore or St. Ninidh's, Parish of Inishmacsaint, is the primary parish church. It was built around 1827 on lands formerly occupied by the Dundas family. An earlier Parish church was built at Drumenagh in 1686. The Village was later renamed Church Hill. That Church fell into disrepair and was replaced by St. Ninidh's at Benmore Glebe.
