Xiao Liu received his PhD degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia in 2011. He received his Master and Bachelor degree from the School of Management, Hefei University of Technology, Hefei, China, in 2007 and 2004 respectively, all in Information Management and Information System. He is currently an Associate Professor at School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. He is also the Director for the Software Engineering Innovation Lab and leading the research program for "Human-Centric Software Engineering: Platform and Education". Before that, he was an Associate Professor and Assistant to the Dean at Software Engineering Institute, East China Normal University, Shanghai, China, during 2013 to 2015. His research interests include workflow systems, service computing, cloud and edge computing, AI for Software Engineering, and Human-Centric Software Engineering. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM, and a Member of CCF.
