Biography: Xiao Liu received his Ph.D. degree in software engineering at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia, in 2011. He was an Associate Professor at the Software Engineering Institute, East China Normal University, Shanghai, China, during 2013 to 2015. He is currently a Professor and Leader of the Software Engineering Innovation Lab at the School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. His research interests include workflow systems, cloud and edge computing, UAVs and human-centric software engineering. He has published many papers in top software engineering and service computing venues such as ACM ToSEM, IEEE TSE, IEEE TSC, ICSE, ASE, ICWS and ICSOC. He is currently an Associate Editor for the Journal of Systems and Software, and on the editorial board for multiple IEEE, Elsevier, and Springer Journals. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM.

Biography: Dr. Rajkumar Buyya is a Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor and Director of the Quantum Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems (qCLOUDS) Laboratory at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is also serving as the founding CEO of Manjrasoft, a spin-off company of the University, commercializing its innovations in Cloud Computing. He has authored over 850 publications and seven text books including "Mastering Cloud Computing" published by McGraw Hill, China Machine Press, and Morgan Kaufmann for Indian, Chinese and international markets respectively. Software technologies developed under Dr. Buyya's leadership have gained rapid acceptance and are in use at several academic institutions and commercial enterprises in 60+ countries around the world. He is a Fellow of ACM, IEEE & Academia Europea.
