Regression Therapy

Regression Therapy: A Handbook for Professionals 2 Vol. set - published 1993, reissued 2007

To say that this two-volume compendium is a major contribution to our field is to ridiculously undervalue it. It is, in this reviewer's opinion, probably the most important single contribution to our field to date. More than ten years in the making, it reflects the precision, thoughtfulness and thoroughness that one would expect from Lucas.

Lucas has indeed produced a handbook for professionals, but she has also produced an excellent training guide. Those teaching past life therapy will, from now on, find these volumes essential; since they now exist, they immediately constitute the heart and soul, the absolute foundation stone, of all good courses.

-Thelma Freedman

This book is a compilation of several experts in the field who had been practicing regression therapy for years. Most were originally traditional therapists who came to the realization that regression therapy - while not a cure-all - is sometimes the only tool that is effective in healing a patient's issues.

In Volume 1, each of the contributors explains his or her background, philosophy, indications for use of regression therapy, contraindications, induction methods, healing techniques, and cases. Some of the contributors also provide sample scripts that they use during the induction of patients.

Volume 2 is broken down into topics, with each contributor adding his or her philosophy and experiences about these topics, as well as relevant case studies. The topics include childhood, child (including sexual) abuse, prenatal, birth, inner life, and death.

While the book was perhaps intended for professionals, the text can be easily understood by anyone (such as myself) who is simply interested in the subject.
