Thank you for visiting my website. I am Dr Neville John Ellis, an Honorary Lecturer at the School of Education, UNSW, Sydney. This site is maintained as my personal portfolio.

Previous to my appointment at UNSW as a Lecturer in Teacher Professional Learning at the School of Education, I worked in education at the University of Sydney, in corporate strategy and planning at Western Sydney University, and as a Senior Education Officer at the Ministry of Education and Dean of Nanyang Girls High School, Singapore. I thereby have extensive experience as a lecturer, education consultant, classroom teacher, and school leader in various global contexts.

My research interests centre around teacher development, professional learning, practitioner research and mentoring, my PhD being a comparative case study which focused on teacher professional learning and practitioner research, investigating how research practices are pre-figured and hence remodelled in different contexts.
