I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India. Previously, I have been with the University of the West Indies (Kingston, Jamaica) and with Humboldt University (Berlin). I work on financial intermediation, especially technologically driven and deeper structural change. Through my empirical research in banking, consumer finance, payments, and money I aspire to understand especially the risks and challenges, but also the potential benefits these developments generate. I am also interested in classical banking topics.
