2014 February: ($58,366) Project DRIVE: Digital Resources for Instructional Validation and Effectiveness. The project is designed to increase student achievement through the use of digital resources. These resources will support student learning and professional development within the entire school district. Several focus areas will be addressed during the scope of this project. The project will implement three strategically selected digital content areas: icurio curriculum, PD 360, professional development content, and provide online learning modules to increase math effectiveness for educators.
2003 June: Affects of Skill Development in A Computer Webmaster Camp on Middle School Students Determined to be placed “At Risk”. ($4,020- part of a Diversity Grant awarded to Anona Smith, PI by the Office of the Provost in conjunction with the LIFT Project). I directed a computer camp for middle school students determined to be placed “at-risk” to develop Webmaster skills and give them experiences on a college campus. While this is also a service and described in V. of this dossier, data is being collected and the students followed to determine the effectiveness of the intervention. ($4,020, part of Diversity grant awarded by the Office of the Provost, NCSU).
