BIO

Fulya Ersoy is an assistant instructional professor in the Economics department at University of Chicago. Before joining University of Chicago, she worked at Loyola Marymount University as a tenure-track assistant professor between 2018 and 2023. She holds a PhD in Economics from Stanford University.  Her primary research interests are the economics of education and experimental economics. Her current line of work aims to improve the educational outcomes of students by better understanding their beliefs, constraints, and preferences. She holds a BA in Management from Bogazici University, Turkey and an MA in Economics from Sabanci University, Turkey. She is married to Dr. Burak Guzelturk.
