Every adolescent and adult will face challenges from time to time and we sometimes need a bit of extra help—whether it’s developing better strategies for dealing with school or work, identifying new parenting approaches, or ideas to help relationships flourish.
I work with my clients to develop strategies that will help them:
· Become more self-aware and mindful
· Manage their stress, anxiety, anger or low mood
· Understand the impact (both helpful and unhelpful) of their thoughts and attitudes
· Identify behaviours and habits that hold them back from a happier, more fulfilling life
· Reconnect with important values, and take steps toward achieving value-driven goals.
My therapeutic style is a mix of positive psychology, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
