A standard 50-60 minute consultation is $275. Initial sessions are 90 minutes and are $335. You may be eligible to claim a rebate from your private health insurer. Please contact your private health insurer directly to enquire about rebates for clinical psychology consultations. Alternatively, you may be eligible for a rebate through Medicare. You will need to consult with your local GP to determine if you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), which will give you 10 rebated sessions in a calendar year. The rebate for a 50-60 minute MHCP consultation is $145.25
