Kashana ir'Helmworth

A retired research archaeologist and tenured professor at Morgrave university, Kashana married into the wealthy merchant Helmworth family in Sharn. She has several children who run the legitimate business side of her late husbands fortune, but continues to teach. She uses her wealth to fund expeditions to Xen'drik to find further relics from the Dream War between the Giants and the Quori to use as weapons against the Dreaming Dark.
It is known that thanks to her Kalashtar heritage, she is gifted with powerful psychic abilities.
Lady Kashana has given the PCs the use of a stout shell keep that she is leasing from King Boranel, which they abandoned when they moved back to Sharn. She then gave them use of one of the Helmworth Shipping warehouses for use.
Kad the Cad

An exorciate of House Tharashk, Kad'rik Torrn d'Tharashk (now just Kad'rik Torrn, although he is loathed to use his clan name since he was expunged from both House Tharashk and Clan Torrn), possesses the Greater Mark of Finding across his back. He leads expeditions into Xen'drik for Kashana and uses his abilities and a stolen House Tharashk device to locate relics from the war between Xen'drik and Dal Quor.
Eoghan Kurzen

An elderly man (though far younger than Lady Kashana), Eoghan served as the batman for Lord ir'Helmsworth during his enlistment in the Last War. After his Lord passed away, Eoghan has served as Lady Kashana's servant within her estate in the City of Towers. She has placed him as major domo to the PCs, having served this function at both Baran's Keep and at the Sharn Warehouse.
Eoghan has some connection to the Brelish Crown, specifically the Dark Lanterns, and was present when the PCs met with King Boranel and King Kaius.
Eoghan is a balding Brelish man who has long sideburns that he braids beneath his chin.
Kimmud Laranak

Hailing from the Mror Holds in the far north, Kimmud Laranak worked as a blacksmith in Sharn until his service was acquired by Lady Kashana. With Baran's Keep reopening on a major trade route and with his skill working both steel and stone, Lady Kashana has promised that Kimmud would be very busy, yet out from under the thumb of the Making Guild.

A House Ghallanda trained cook and alewife, Roseni worked at the franchised Golden Dragon Inn that services Morgrave University in the Upper Menthis Plateau of Sharn. She was lured away with an attractive offer of employment and a much sought after gift, a Talentan fastieth of a rare bloodline who she calls Fenvyre. Part of her contract is that Fenvyre gets to live in the Keep's stables and can never be put out with horses outside the keep's walls due to lack of space.
Sigor Vedenin

The former Inquisitive Royal for Karrnath until the ascension of King Kaius III, Sigor held the Skeleton Key Prophecy Stone in his possession for nearly 20 years until Akuran Thul arrived and took the stone from him. Sigor made the mistake of touching the energy inside the prophecy stone and dying for that knowledge, his entire body withering. High Priest Malevanor from the Crimson Monastery saved his life at the request of King Kaius, anchoring his intelligence to his corpse, which now sits on a throne in the room the prophecy stone is kept. He has three research assistants who also perished with him who were not saved. Sigor can hear their voices, but others cannot unless they use Speak with Dead. Sigor has a permanent version of Speak with Dead cast on him.
Coaxoch

A Prismat (Paladin) of her religion, Coaxoch follows the will of the Silver Flame - the lifeblood of the Couatl's sacrifice to imprison the Demonic Overlords at the end of the Age of Demons. When the Inspired Lords of Sarlona attempted to destroy the Shulassakar, she fought against them and barely escaped protecting a convoy of refugees to Q'Barra. While there, she worked tirelessly to establish a new colony for her people in Newthrone.
It was while she visited a temple to Garyx (one of the Draconic Dieties who are worshipped as lesser saints of the Silver Flame in the Shulassakar religion) that Veton's offering of gems arrived from Sharn. She felt an instant calling and set out on a pilgrimage to Sharn with the promise to contribute to the Couatl's sacrifice.
Like all Shulassakar, her bloodline was altered by the Couatl's her people served and revered, witih each bloodline showing some degree of alteration. Coaxoch is a full-blooded Transcendent Shulassakar, which is the equivalent of a Yuan-Ti Abomination. Yuan-Ti are Shulassakar who forsook their divine patrons and instead began to worship other beings. Yuan-Ti have lost their colored feathers and wings.

Sora Teraza

One of the preeminent seers on Eberron, she was first approached by the PCs for help getting to Ashtakala. She traded the knowledge of a potion to get past the protections around Ashtakala in exchange for what Zarth valued most, his knowledge of teleportation magic.
The second run in she reached out to the PCs to give her aid. She bargained on their behalf with her mother, Sora Kell, to give the PCs knowledge then as an additional gift to Zarth, returned what she took from Zarth. For some reason, she is going above and beyond what most hags do.
Lord Inquisitor Obadiah Krayci

The militant leader of the Order of the Pure, the Head Inquisitor of Church of the Silver Flame, and a religious lord within Thrane, Obadiah Krayci committed what Karrnath specifically considers war crimes during the Last War during the Last Siege of Thaliost. While the Thronehold Tribunal has yet to charge him with crimes, Karrnath has had massive bounties out on his head before he allied with the Karrnathi Crown to stop an incursion from Thrane.
He was first encountered as a prisoner in the dungeon beneath the Cathedral of the Silver Flame, having uncovered a plot by the Lords of Dust to free Bel Shalor. He was an ardent defender of the Keeper of the Flame but was unable to stop her assassination by High Cardinal Krozen. Now he is on a one man crusade to reclaim Thrane for the faithful.
His face is rarely seen, as he prefers the a carved helmet that bears a stern face with a chain mail beard.
Lorelea ir'Tanar

The daughter of Count Rolund ir'Tanar, Lorelea is the current castellan of Tanar Rath while her father is at war with Thrane. She has a small contingent of knights as a personal bodyguard and about 60 soldiers to keep Tanar Rath secure.
She is aiding Obadiah Krayci in his bid to retake control of the Paladins of the Silver Flame.
Flamewind

A mysterious being who saw the fall of the Giant Empire on Xen'drik, no one knows much of Flamewind. She sought out Lox d'Lyrander and traveled to Sharn on his airship, which was renamed in her honor.
Flamewind is a powerful Seer and in a way, a rival to Sora Teraza. Unlike the Hag, Flamewind's prophecies are don't usually result in ruin.
She lives in the university district of Sharn and academics often attempt to entreat her for tidbits of information that will help their research.
Azalakardon the Prophet

A member of the Chamber of Argonessen and an ardent devotee of the Draconic Prophecy. He lives in a former cloud giant citadel which he transformed into Dragon Observatory that can travel between planes. He often communicates with his servant Veton through an attuned dragonshard.
He believes in the Prophecy of the Keys and sent Veton to assist the efforts of the PCs to fulfil the prophecy.
Maravax the Broodguard

The Captain of the Crimson Queen's Broodguard, Maravax traveled to Sharn in search of the thief who stole Selumos eggs. He struck a deal on behalf of the Crimson Queen, promising magic rings in exchange for the dragon eggs.
When Selumos arrived, he immediately relocated to her side as her protector. He is a brash warrior, who is not accustomed to the ways of non-dragons.
He departed with Selumos when she returned to Argonessen.
Vermisaracht

The memory of the ancient wyrm who lead the assault on Tocht'enocht in Xen'drik. When giant priests in the temple used their magic on the bound quori spirit to create a dream bubble to preserve their falling empire, Vermisaracht was trapped in the bubble. He existed as a ghost-like memory, only visible to those inside the bubble, but existing outside the temple's door.
Because of his age and magical power, he was able to influence the dream to a small extent and was well aware of how much time had passed.
He was able to provide some information on the Keystone which had just recently crashed into the temple. He beseeched the PCs to contact his grandson, now an ancient wyrm himself, Vermisaracht III.
Selumos, the Crimson Queen

The Crimson Queen of the Great Barrier Mountains and a current member of the ruling class of dragons on Argonessen, three of Selumos eggs were taken by Landis Rook for use in his experiment to resurrect a dracolich. Her dragonsong caused the several small earthquakes in Sharn before she was appeased by the efforts of the PCs and the werewolf Fell.
She departed back to Argonessen with a warning.
Moolowik the Undrowned

Moolowik is a Child of Blibdoolpoolp and belongs to one of two tribes of Kuo Toa that call Lake Dark Home. Moolowik the Undrowned is a warrior of the Children and an ardent foe of the other tribe, the
Drowners of Korb. He has had minor dealings with the denizens of Lakeside over the years. After the PCs showed him proper respect, he has agreed to guide them in his people's territory.
Because of their latent psychic powers, kuo toa believers can manifest a god like being in times of need simply by believing in it's existence. The Children's God is named Blibdoolpoolp, and has the body of a well proportioned woman, with the head and pincers of a crawfish. As the Drowners of Korb live within the underwater manifest zone linked to the realm of Dolurrh, they tend to manifest a fiendish tentacled fish called Korb.
King Boranel ir'Wynarn

The current King of Breland, ruling from Brokenblade Castle in Wroat. King Boranel is a former adventurer who explored Xen'drik with Kashana before her marriage to Lord ir'Helmworth. He is a shrewd military commander who was responsible for many of Breland's victories in the last 30 years of the Last War.
King Boranel was an early adherent to his cousin Kaius III's efforts for peace in the Last War. He is currently working with his cousin to ensure that peace is maintained by stopping the Church of the Silver Flame's assault of Karrnath.
King Kaius ir'Wynarn III

The current King of Karrnath, ruling from the Keep of the Conqueror in Korth or his summer home of the Nightfort in Atur. King Kaius III is a sickly man who bears a uncanny resemblance to his grandfather, Kaius I. One of his first acts was to overrule his grandfather's official establishment of the Blood of Vol cult as the primary religion of Karrnath and to outlaw the Blood's knightly enforcers, the Order of the Emerald Claw.
When he ascended to throne, he became the first person to establish peace talks, working with his cousins Aurala, Boranel, Diani, Oargev, and the rulers of the other nations to bring the Last War to a close. His efforts were not successful until the Day of Mourning. He is currently working with his cousin to ensure that peace is maintained by stopping the Church of the Silver Flame's assault of Karrnath.
Thrizin Dhukeba, Bastard Whelp of the Shadow

After travelling from the Great Crag to Cazhaak Draal, he has not been seen since.
Sora Kell

The first Night Hag, the original nightmare, the mother of monsters, Sora Kell has not taken flesh in centuries. Her daughters rule the monster kingdom of Droaam. Sora Teraza bartered for her assistance to provide three truthful answers for the PCs concerning the Prophecy of the Keys.
While she may not be an enemy now, she is certainly not an ally. Nobody that powerful or that consistently evil can be.
Tifala Nezzelech

A vampire Gnome Artificer, Tifala is a disgraced courtier to Lady Illmarrow. She first encountered the PCs when they took up residence in Baran's Keep and they drove off her servitors who were using it to prey on the residents of the countryside. She was using her skill at artifice to create Mabar-infused wolves for war.
The second time she was encountered was at Lake Dark in Karrnath where she oversaw the work done on the Dimensional Seal. She politely informed Ding Silverhand that the PCs have thwarted Lady Illmarrow's plans at least twice now and she regrets the retaliation that must come.
Lady Illmarrow

Referenced through historical documents and existing as rumors within the Order of the Emerald Claw, Lady Illmarrow is believed to be the power behind the Blood of Vol cult that has a growing foothold in the Lhazaar Principalities and Karrnath. A rare occurrence, she reached out to the Emerald Claw Knights operating around Lake Dark and issued orders to work with Tifala Nezzelech.
Lady Illmarow is rumored to live on an island in the Lhazaar Principalities inhabited by a small population of elves from Aerenal. According to Tifala and Sir Gertan, she is seeking ascension to some higher form.
Akuran Thul

There are two sides to the Prophecy of the Keys, and Akuran Thul and his minions are in opposition to the PCs seeking to usurp the prophecy and free Tiamat from bondage. Akuran Thul is a half-fiend oni, with greatly enhanced powers and a magical gauntlet known as the Skeleton Key that houses four of the six keys needed to free the Daughter of Khyber from her shackles.
He has taken the Key of the Sentinel from Ding Silverhand, the Key of the Traveler from Zarth d'Orien, the Key of the Crafter from Shantar, and the Key of the Stalker from Athyra Dagnir.
He is currently moving from Ashtakala to Sharn to locate additional keys and fulfil the prophecy.
Fell

An enforcer in Daask, Fell recently moved from Passage to Sharn and has gone a long way to solidfy the power of the Hags in the city. He is a formidable werewolf and is a ranking member of the Dark Pack within Droaam.
Daask is in direct opposition with the Boromar Clan, and there is an open assassination contract on Fell for his attacks on Boromar holdings.
Fell located the third dragon egg and delivered it to Selumos in exchange for unspecified favors between the Crimson Queen and the Daughters of Sora Kell.
High Cardinal Krozen

The head of the Cardinals of the Silver Flame, High Cardinal Krozen is now false Keeper of the Flame (called the Speaker of the Shadow) after the assassination of Jaela Daran, the former Keeper.
It is unknown when Krozen was replaced by a Rakshasa, but when Zarth met him at the Cathedral of the Silver Flame he quite obviously was a fiend in liege with Bel Shalor.
He is the impetus driving the attack on Karrnath, looking to stoke the flames of the Last War.
Bel Shalor

The Shadow in the Flame, Bel Shalor is the Rakshasa Rajah bound within the Silver Flame in modern day Thrane. As a Rajah, he is one of the ruling class of fiends bound in Khyber by the dragons and couatl towards the end of the Age of Demons. He nearly slipped his bonds 300 years ago, but was kept in place by a combination of a couatl's sacrifice and the assistance of the paladin Tira Miron. The Church of the Silver Flame was formed after this battle with Tira Miron as the first Keeper of the Flame.
Bel Shalor occasionally stirs and has orchestrated not only the fall of the Keeper of the Silver Flame, but also the release of numerous demons and fiends to stoke the embers of the Last War.
Landis Rook

The former proprieter of Dread, Wrath, and Beyond, Landis Rook may have been a beholder the entire time, or the unnamed beholder may have replaced him for access to his rare alchemical and artificer supplies. Either way, the beholder lived inside of a Landis Rook suit, which he sloughed off when working on his research.
Landis had a small desmene within Belshyyra's realm in Khyber (affectionately called the Butt Hole Dimension) in which he attempted to resurrect a dracolich. He needed dragon eggs for his research, which put him in direct opposition to the PCs who killed him.
Tifala Nezzelech confirmed that Landis Rook's experiments were for Lady Illmarrow.
The PCs have taken over Dread, Wrath, and Beyond and set up shop in the Cogs.
Aerys d'Lyrander

The Dragonmarked Half-Elf Captain of the Broken Promise, Aerys was hired out of Stormreach and was the only captain who would travel into the interior when the dangerous Xen'drik Mists began to form. Aerys is the captain of The Broken Promise, a non-adorned and quite subdued elemental airship. When he captained the Broken Promise the crew roster read: Daen Petilom (male Khorvaire half-elf pilot), Austina Galanodel (female elf first mate) Alinda and Lorelea Theda (twin Karnathi female deckhands), Annaka Highfall (female dwarf cargomaster), Sil (male changeling deckhand who almost always appears as old human male who goes by Old Sil), Praxel Canatar (male gnome artificer)
Daen Petilom

One of the feared Zilargo Reclaimers, a small guild within the Elemental Binders Union. Nesker Brightspark is an artificer of some power who has taken to binding elementals to his own flesh. He is the captain of the elemental stormship, Little Hope.
During the last war, he helped design airships for the various militaries and was the principal designer behind a ship now known as The Broken Promise. As the airship was never paid for, he seeks to reclaim it for his nation and to sate his wounded pride.
Lox d'Lyrander

Captain of the Flamewind, an elemental airship renamed for it's most famous passenger, Captain Lox still keeps in contact with the gynosphinx and will often locate people on her behalf so that she can provide prophecies. When in Sharn, he works out of various inns and taverns.
Frost Prince Brun ap Oergwyn

A high ranking courtier of the Winter Fae, Brun ap Oergwyn (also known as the Frost Prince) is the Archfey in charge of the feyspire Taer Syraen (Eladrin: The Winter Citadel). He is intensely interested in mortals, but hates the fact that the Feyspires were trapped on the material plane by the events of the Mourning. Still, as an immortal being, he moves at a glacial speed concerning things he finds troubling, and has resisted all efforts of alliances with mortal authorities who offer help
Brun ap Oergwyn made a deal with the PCs for the assistance of the Winter Fey. He provided two challenges, either stop the teleportation interference which originated in Lake Dark or finish the story of the Kech Uskosh, a goblin clan who worshiped a fear aspect of the Devourer.
Bethod-in-White

Clad in heavy armor made of faerie steel, Bethod-in-White is the commander of the Riders of Aryth, a heavy cavalry company housed in Taer Syraen.
His efforts have been instrumental in establishing the boundaries of Taer Syraen within the Karrnwood. No military forces are allowed to enter this area without challenge.
The PCs bargained with Brun ap Oergwyn for the services of the Riders of Aryth to support Karrnath against Thrane.
Loremaster Gelmar

The Loremaster of Taer Syraen, Gelmar runs the extensive library in within the Feyspire. He has been collecting ancient histories for millennia, often traveling and chronicling his adventures in weighty tomes which are housed among the stacks.
His collection is first rate, and has access to extremely high levels spells in the schools of Divination and Transmutation.
Gelmar has a personal interest in the Kech Uskosh and does not wish for the PCs to finish that story. He bartered high level spells with Eelix and knowledge about Vvarak with Veton to convince the group to abandon their plans for the Kech Uskosh.
