I've finally uploaded my photos of some finished holiday projects.
First up, a knitted toy for my friend's niece. I swore that I wouldn't knit toys, but I had some Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in the Pink Diamond colorway that is perfect for knitted toys. So it became an Elefante, pattern by Susan B. Anderson.
Of course, to keep me going, I finally finished my Verspergyle Mitts by Elinor Brown. For yarn, I used Kauni effektgarn in EQ. I used about 350 yards of this yarn, which was one full repeat of all the colors. I knit from both ends of the ball of yarn I had split from the original ball of 700+ yards to create this effect. I still have quite a bit leftover, definitely enough for another set of mittens or some other project which I have no idea.
I'm trying to get ahead of the curve on holiday knits, but I have so many other projects keeping me well distracted. Let's see how far spreading the cheer will go.
