Case 1

Extracts from correspondence with Andrea:

"We have one account and all the files are on one computer. We loan one file per IPod and can load up to 3 copies of of the same file on different Ipods at one time. We can loan as many files at one time as we have IPods but not more than 3 of the same file."

"What we have done is catalogued each MP3 file in Oliver and added 3 copies (physical barcodes). Then we will keep a card for each with the barcodes at the circulation counter. This way we can track loan history and we don't loan more than 3 copies of the same file at one time. If we want a group or whole class to listen we can do this via one Ipod connected to a laptop. When the IPod is returned we just delete the file. We only load files on request."
