Welcome

I am an Associate professor in the Department of Political Science and the coordinator for the College of Humanity and Social Sciences Global Outreach Program at Sam Houston State University. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2014. Before joining SHSU, I taught at Wesleyan University and SUNY-Cortland.

My research and teaching interests broadly on Comparative Politics, International Relations (Security Issues), Political Psychology and Behavior, Quantitative Methods, Asian Politics, and Political Communication.

My research has been published in journals like Electoral Behavior, Journal of Chinese Political Science, Japanese Journal of Political Science, Asian Journal of Political Science, Asian Journal of Comparative Politics, and Several Asian News Media.
