USA swimming
USA Swimming is the national governing body for competitive swimming in the United States. It is charged with selecting the United States Olympic Swimming team and any other teams which officially represent the United States, as well as the overall organization and operation of the sport within the country, in accordance with the Amateur Sports Act. The national headquarters is located at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Tentative plan for 2023 Season
Any of our swimmers will swim unattached this season.
A swimmer MUST be a USA swimmer registered using the link provided at the bottom of this page to be able to participate in USA swim meets.
The meets listed below are on Saturday and Sunday (Sometimes Friday and Monday as well). Please note that we can go ONLY if there is no YMCA/GNOAC meet. The YMCA/GNOAC dual meets are mandatory for all YMCA/GNOAC swimmers.

Entries for a USA swim meet are usually due 2-3 weeks ahead of the meet. USA Swimming registration is required for the entries.

2022 Annual/Premium (Year-Round) Athlete $78
This membership has no restrictions.
2022 Outreach (Year-Round) Athlete
This membership type must meet eligibility approval.
2022 Flex (Year-Round) $30
This membership allows to participate in two meets. It can be upgraded to the Premium any time during 2023 year.
Membership restrictions:
12&under athletes only
Max 2 meets per membership year
Eligible for meets below LSC Championships only
Meet Fees
In addition to the above fees, there is about a $5 meet surcharge per swimmer and $5 -$6 per event. Sometimes there is a facility fee. Usually around $10. If you would like to attend a meet please contact coach Smolda and he will enter your swimmer in the offered eligible events. Some meets do not accept NT (no time). Swimmers can be generally entered into four events in one day but that varies depending on the given meet. No relays at this point.
If you do not attend the meet, but were registered for that meet, you will still be responsible for the meet fees. All meet fees are due prior to the meet.

The process is a 2-steps. process this year.
In step 1 you will register with Ohio Swimming and pay the Ohio LSC fee. (Once processed you will receive a link that will allow you to complete step 2.)
In step 2 you will register with USA Swimming and pay the USA Swimming fees.
It might take a few days for the Ohio Swimming Office to process your application.
